37th Season

AUDITION NOTICE

Shakespeare & Company, Minnesota’s longest running Outdoor Classical Repertory Theatre, will hold auditions for our 37th Season on Saturday April 14; 2012, 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the Theatre Building, Century College, West Campus, 3300 Century Avenue North, White Bear Lake, MN. 55110

We will be casting a non-Equity central company of 20-25 actors for our season.  No Equity contracts will be available this season.  All roles are available. Shakespeare & Company encourages all actors to audition, regardless of age, ethnicity or experience level. Please bring THREE (3) copies of your current acting resume and headshot.  Please prepare TWO (2) contrasting classical monologues. At least one must be from the works of Shakespeare.  No appointment is necessary.  Rehearsals will begin, on a rotating schedule, the first week of May.  Students are encouraged to audition as arrangements can be made regarding the end of the school year.

Shakespeare & Company’s Season begins on June 30, 2012 and runs weekends through August 5, 2012 performing in repertory, Shakespeare’s The Merry Wives of Windsor, directed by Tim Perfect, Moliere’s Tartuffe, directed by George M. Roesler and Shakespeare’s Cymbeline, directed by Jeffrey Altier.
