33nd Season

AUDITION NOTICE

Shakespeare & Company, Minnesota’s longest running Outdoor Classical Repertory Theatre, will hold auditions for our 33rd Season on Saturday April 19; 2008 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the Theatre Building, Century College, West Campus, 3300 Century Avenue North, White Bear Lake, MN. 55110

We will be casting a non-Equity central company of 20-25 actors for our season.  No Equity contracts will be available this season.  All roles are available. Shakespeare & Company encourages all actors to audition, regardless of age, ethnicity or experience level. Please bring THREE (3) copies of your current acting resume and headshot.  Please prepare TWO (2) contrasting classical monologues. At least one must be from the works of Shakespeare.  No appointment is necessary.  Rehearsals will begin, on a rotating schedule, the first week of May.  Students are encouraged to audition as arrangements can be made regarding the end of the school year.

Shakespeare & Company’s 33rd Season begins on June 28, 2008 and runs weekends through August 3, 2008 performing in repertory, Shakespeare’s Richard II, directed by George M. Roesler, Shakespeare’s As You Like It, directed by Stu Naber and Goldoni’s Servant of Two Masters, directed by Jeffery Altier. For more information contact George M.
