"They say this town is full of cozenage, As nimble jugglers that deceive the eye…”
Shakespeare’s mad-capped farcical romp tells the tale of two sets of identical twins accidentally separated at birth. Antipholus of Syracuse and his servant, Dromio, arrive in Ephesus, which turns out to be the home of their twin brothers, Antipholus of Ephesus and his servant, Dromio. When the boys from Syracuse encounter the friends and families of their twins, a series of wild mishaps based on mistaken identities lead to wrongful beatings, a near-seduction, arrests, accusations of infidelity, theft, madness, and demonic possession. “Every why hath a wherefore.”

“How sharper than a serpent's tooth it is to have a thankless child!”
One of Shakespeare’s most brutal and most lyrical tragedies; King Lear is not just a shattering study of family dynamics, but also the portrait of a king and country plunging into madness and chaos. The parallel stories of Lear and Gloucester are full of deceit and death, as the characters confront fundamental questions of justice, familial duty, and ultimately- sacrifice and possible redemption, while the world collapses around them.
